Digging the 5'x5'x5' hole on the good old Georgia Clay!
Painting some of the sections with zinc paint or cold galvanizing spray from HD.
Here is a detail of the truss bearing assemby for the top section of the tower
Once the hole was dig, I added a few inches of play sand, a rohm 25 base plate, a few pieces of rebar and we were ready for 65 bags of Quickrete,
After the concrete was poured, 3 more sections of tower 10' long were added and a chimney brace was made to help support the tower
All six sections in place
